Winding the key turns a bevel gear which causes the spring to wind. Inserting a tape causes tape to be sandwitched between two pinch rollers, one in the tape and one in the machine. Setting the Track Selector switch causes the Sound Box's needle to be positioned over the beginning of the selected track. If you want to play the same track again, you have to select the other track then select the intended track. The horn is formed into the case. The case has an access door to allow changing of the steel needle. It looks like I forgot to put in a governor. |
