The Amberola 31
The Amberola 31 was a single spring stereophonic cylinder phonograph with two internal horns. Using each groove wall it became possible to record a stereo signal in one groove. The machine could play back all previous cylinders (4 minute and 2 minute) as well as the new red 80 RPM eight minute cylinders. The most famous person to have one was King Arthur. The cylinder (Excalibur theme)  was still playing when he was impaled on his son's spear. The Amberola 31 was playback only.
The Amberola 31 had a separate interlocking base which could be strapped to a horse, to allow for portable music. It could hold several cylinders and an extra diamond needle.
